TAC Tea Set Walter Gropius Rosenthal Germany 1969
Tea set series ‚TAC’ designed by the Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius for Rosenthal in Germany, introduced in 1969 and produced in 1984.
Gropius was asked to to join The Architects Collaborative (TAC) as their senior partner in 1945. They represented a manifestation of his lifelong belief in the significance of teamwork. TAC created many successful projects, and was well respected for its broad range of designs, being considered one of the most notable firms in post-war modernism.
Complete set with large teapot including porcelain tea strainer, milk jug, sugar pot, six tea cups, six saucers and six dessert plates.
