Yellow Flower Vase Scavo Glass Cenedese 1950s
Cutest little flower vase in vibrant yellow, mouth-blown glass „a scavo“ technique, possibly designed by Cenedese in Murano in the 1960s. „Scavo“ (Italian for excavation) is a special glass finishing technique imitating glass from an archeological excavation. Corrosive chemicals are used to dissolve part of the surface when heated up to 800 degrees C.
