Aldo Tura Ice Bucket Goat Skin Green 1960s

Aldo Tura ice bucket in malachite green lacquered goat skin, manufactured by Tura Milano in the 1950s. 

The lid and the handles are made of brass/ brass plated metal, the interior is made of black plastic. Aldo Tura's oevre can be classified somewhere between Art Déco and Italian Modernism, dedicated to the material goat skin he often used vibrant colors such as this malachite green.
