    Early production George Nelson modular chair with chest of drawers from the 1956 Modular Seating System series, manufactured by Contura (today Vitra) and licenced by Herman Miller.

    Original black leather upholstery with studded back, rosewood chest with inlaid aluminum handles, chromed steel legs with adjustable feet.

      Good original condition with signs of use and age, The leather is in a wonderful vintage condition with a few scratches, one flaw on the right side of the seat cushions top border (see photos). The chest has two nicks on the outer top edge and the outer back corner. The drawers have a few veneer chips (see photos). The top drawer has some staining on the inside.
