Swedish Flat Weave Ingegerd Silow Carpet Dellen 1960s

Ingegerd Silow flat-weave rug, model ‚Dellen’, hand-woven in Sweden in the 1960s. 
Beautiful color palette in brown, yellow, green and gray. Hand-woven wool on linen, signed on bottom right corner with the artists initials ‚IS‘.
Very good condition, all fringes still intact. Can be used on both sides as it‘s double woven. The back side has slightly more vibrant colors.

Ingegerd Silow was part of a second generation of twentieth century Swedish textile designers. Trained at Stockholms Konstfack university, her carpets are of the highest quality in terms of impeccable materials and weaving techniques. 
Her designs are modern and timeless, her compositions sort of have the ability to connect an interior space to nature.
